We are excited to announce that Heather Du Quesnay CBE has been appointed as the new Chair of our Board of Trustees, following a successful recruitment process.
Heather has been a valued member of our Trustee Board since November 2023 and brings extensive experience in leadership, having already chaired our Fundraising, Business Development, and Local Communities committees.
Her career began in education, working as a teacher in the Midlands before transitioning to educational administration. Heather held key leadership roles in Cambridgeshire and Essex, before becoming Director of Education in Hertfordshire and later in the London Borough of Lambeth. She went on to lead the National College for School Leadership and spent eight years in Hong Kong as CEO of the English Schools Foundation.
Since returning to the UK, Heather has been actively involved in the charity and education sectors, serving on the Independent Monitoring Board of a prison and as Chair of the Corporation at Cambridge Regional College. Her outstanding contribution to education was recognized with a CBE for her services in Hertfordshire.
We are excited to welcome Heather into this new role and look forward to her leadership as we continue to grow and make an impact in our community.
